Please note: Allison Schmidt will be stepping down as Basketball Convenor at the end of the Spring Season 2012.  A new convenor is required if the Basketball Program is to continue being offered through RKCC.  If you are interested in taking over as Basketball Convenor please contact Allison at rkccbasketball@mymts.net.

The goal of RKCC’s Basketball Program’s is to provide an opportunity to develop skills, a level of fitness and most importantly, fun, through active participation in the game of Basketball.

The program is for boys and girls aged 5 – 18 and the season consists of regular scheduled games, either on Saturdays or Sundays depending on age, plus playoffs. The Fall season starts in mid to late October and runs to mid-March. Spring season starts in April and runs until mid- June. Games are played at the Universities of Winnipeg and Manitoba and various school gymnasiums.

Practices are held once a week at various area school gymnasiums. Ages 7 and under (only offered during the Fall/Winter Season) are co-ed and ages 8 to 18 are separated boys and girls teams.
